Spokane Sequential is a free award-winning quarterly comics zine based in Spokane Washington, powered by generous community support, volunteer staff, and contributions from creators in Spokane and the surrounding Inland Northwest.
When a new issue is made, we drop off copies around Spokane at libraries, cafes, bookstores, and other local businesses. We recommend following us on Blue Sky, Instagram, or Facebook to get updates on when a new issue goes out (and where to find it!)
3/3/2026 - The Winter 2026 issue is now available online, and you can check it out right here!
2/12/26 - Got a few updates for you this time! Our Winter 2026 issue is just about to start being distributed around town, keep an eye on our social media accounts for updates on that as the issues go out to various Spokane businesses. We received so many great submissions for this issue that we couldn't fit them all in, and we selected a few for an extended section on the website that you can read right now, click here to get right to it! Finally, submissions for the next issue are open through Monday, April 6, and our suggested theme is "Glass." In addition to full page comics, we'll be taking strips again this time, so hit up the submission guidelines for all the details!
12/4/25 - Our submission guidelines have been updated to include a bit of info and a template for Strips! We expect full page submissions will remain our main focus but we're trying out a strips page (or two!) for the next issue.
